We all expect others to notice us, like us and treat us better. But, if we carefully analyse what we do, we will realize that we are not mastering the art of winning people at all. Actually it is not that hard. But, still we are not paying enough attention and efforts into this subject.
Here we discuss some basic aspects related to Winning people;
1. Appreciate Others
Normally we are too lazy to appreciate others. But, if you think carefully you will notice that we find plenty of things in other people which we can pass an appreciation. People really like to be appreciated and especially they like if we appreciate them with the presence of others.
2. Be genuinely interested on them
This is the second most important factor. If we can let them feel that we are genuinely interested on them then naturally they will start to like us. Just let them know that you can remember their name and their favorite movies...etc.
3. Just listen and encourage them to talk about them
Most of us fail in this aspect. For an example, I love wildlife very much. Once I met a person who also loves wildlife. But, compared to myself, he has very little wildlife experiences. He used to talk about his wildlife experiences with me and I also had very interesting experiences to share with him. But, instead of sharing my experiences with him, I just encouraged his stories. At the end of the session I also just made a small remark that I also like wild life and thank him for sharing his experiences. He liked me very much and even today he contacts me through social media.
Most people would not like to listen. Instead they like to share their stories. No one wants to listen the adventures of other people. So, today onward just encourage other person to talk.
